My future home will be a 2014 Daily Iveco that I turned into a camper van. Originally the van was used as a tool shop. When I bought the van, it was insulated and there was even some extra tech in it. Unfortunately I noticed a water leak from the skylight’s seals and the insulation needed to be done again. So the laborious planning and studying needed to begin because I decided to turn the van completely into what I wanted it to be, on my own. I bought the van in 2021. The van’s refurbishment project started with dismantling even though it was supposed to be just a small facelift. I finished the van's insulation before winter. Once spring came, I got back to the project. The project really started picking up speed in June 2022. I spent the whole summer mending the van. I was working for 10 to 18 hours a day. In September of 2022 the van was finally ready and I got to take it for a few test rides before the first snow. In 2023 I will be heading to Europe and see what it has to offer.
