My story

I was born in an entrepreneurial family and entrepreneurship has been running in the family for generations. Eventually, I ended up as an entrepreneur myself, through many twists and turns. My parents owned a gas station, so my first job during elementary school was filling up cars and washing their windshields.  

After grade school I headed for a restaurant and catering business school and eventually graduated with a scholarship. After graduating I worked in the family business for ten years, until in the fall of 2008 I burned out completely due to working too much. A few years earlier I had bought an old house, so the renovation of the house, my own music hobby and the passing down of the family business was too much.  

Early fall of 2008 I fell into a ditch while cycling, thinking I was going into cardiac arrest. This was the start of one and a half years of sick leave ja at times I was being monitored in the hospital, because my resting heart rate was under 30 BPM. Additionally, I have trouble remembering that time period and several months of time are completely gone from my memory.  

Eventually, I decided to begin looking for my own passion, started an audio business and went to study in the audio field. I graduated as a music technologist and have been running the business since 2010. Also, I started teaching and doing courses in the audio field in 2014. 

In 2020, when the pandemic took toll on the cultural section and my work decreased radically, I found myself back with my old filming hobby which I had been doing in grade school. When the energy crisis hit in the winter of 2022, I lost my place of business, and my long-term relationship came to an end.  

So, I decided it was time for me to do what I had dreamed of for a long time. To go explore the world and all its different cultures and monuments. Before that I’ll be selling everything and then my journey starts in the summer of 2023.
